Community Planning
The process of urban planning usually involves a high level of community interaction and an interplay of group dynamics and consensus building among diverse participants. Working on several large-scale community planning projects over many years, PH/A has succeeded in being good listeners and decisive organizers. Often working in collaboration with other planning firms and community agencies, these projects have helped revitalize neighborhoods and set the direction for healthy growth.

Riverside Park
PH/A Rezoned the propert to "planned development/ mixed use" (PDMU) that allows for retail, a restaurant, 6 live/work units and 16 townhomes. PH/A also is contracted for full architectural services on the project.
Douglas, GA Downtown Revitalization
The City of Douglas had the unique distinction of a small town at a crossroad between the need to grow and the need to preserve cultural and historical character. While the prime consultant developed the downtown streetscape project, the architects assisted in developing and creating pedestrian-oriented spaces and/or courts at several intersections.
Hapeville, GA Downtown Masterplan

PH/A is currently working with Selig enterprises to redevelop an industrial area of Northwest Atlanta to a retail/ mixed use/ and living community.
