Pimsler Hoss Architects has developed designs for retail projects for both corporate and individual retailers since the firm’s inception. Corporate retailers have included Wolf Camera & Video, Dekor, Sunny’s, National Vision, Metro PCS, WH Smith and Boral Brick Studios. The firm has developed a reputation for understanding both the landlord/tenant guidelines and requirements, blending into a successful retail environment.

10th Street Station
The design of 10th Street Station naturally required attention to the client and national retail stores' needs but also required working with the Midtown Alliance to create a city friendly design.

Big Peach Running Company
Pimsler Hoss Architects has designed two stores for Big Peach Running Company, a local running shoe and athletic apparel retailer. The stores are clad with slat walls to allow the entire store to easily adapt and for display of anything from shoes to magazines to clothing.

Chattahoochee Avenue
Currently on the boards, the Chattahoochee Avenue retail project is a part of an overall masterplan that will help reshape a Northwest Atlanta industrial area.

Mac's Liquors
Breaking the mold of a "typical" liquor store was the wonderful challenge of this project. During the design of this building PH/A worked with the Midtown Alliance to help insure encourage pedestrian activity and friendliness. The building is situated prominently on the corner of West Peachtree Street and Peachtree Place and has two residential/commercial lofts on the second floor.

Tanner Healthcare
Ermcar worked together with Pimsler Hoss Architects, Inc. to design this Tanner Healthcare location in Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville, Ga. The space includes a small auditorium as well as several custom information and media kiosks. The brightly colored space works with the corporate color scheme as well as providing a psychologically uplifting environment.

W. H. Smith
This retail outlet in the Birmingham Sheraton Hotel is the second completed retail store by Pimsler Hoss Architects for the W. H. Smith corporation. PHA provided assistance to the retailer in documenting nearly seventy location in the Southeast and developing design/construction documents for two other locations.

Wish
Wish is a design build project for Pimsler Hoss that had specific design challenges and a tight budget. The store owner wanted to create a dynamic space, using a variety of inexpensive materials to create an affordable but yet very new wave "club chic" atmosphere.
