Gilmore Residence – Sandy Springs

Pimsler Hoss Architects was approached by a home owner who was having water infiltration issues. Their existing sunroom enclosure had a sloped polycarbonate roof system which opened to below.  Due to the size of the room, PHA chose a wood truss system where the top chord is sloped to match the rest of the roof. This was so that one continuous asphalt roof shingle system could be used on the exterior.  Along with new lighting fixtures, a wood floor and wood ceiling was installed to finish out the space.
